before,” Middleton said. “Now that
they've figured that out, they know
how to put that into a plan, into a
model. I think we're going to continue
to see budgets become not really that
important.”
Middleton said users are beginning
to find the right automation for the
right objectives. Hansen said it’s a
matter of determining value.
“This is going to bring value to
the bottom line for owners and
management companies alike,
because if you have clarity into what
you're doing from a financial performance
perspective, it goes way beyond the
traditional metrics of how's my hotel
performing on RevPAR market, or what
does ROI look like from a specific asset
or from my portfolio?” Hansen said. “It's
going to allow you the visibility to get very
granular and understand metrics that
are way beyond the traditional means of
measure and how that creates value.”
Value is what drives decision-making on
the highest levels, he said.
“I get to speak to a lot of CEOs of both
management companies, ownership groups
and investment firms, and something that
resonates with me after every conversation
